Essays:

Published by Unbound in 2019, ‘Rife Twenty-One Stories From Britain’s Youth’ is a collection of essays from the creative minds behind Rife Magazine. It holds a mirror up to the experience of young people in the UK today, with essays on money, mental health, sex, gender, inequality, education, crime and the future.

Kaja’s essay ‘Gender Divides’ looks at the purpose of gender in modern society while reflecting on her own experiences of playing with gender expression through online role-playing platforms.

In issue 70 of the welsh agenda, Wales’ Leading current affairs magazine, Kaja has an essay published titled ‘How Can we use storytelling to change the world?’ In this essay Kaja reflects on how storytelling is being used in Wales and the wider world to communicate the issues surrounding the climate crisis.

Kaja interviews Black Mountains College tutor’s Ben Rawlence, Owen Sheers, Tom Bullough and Dr Natasha Eernstman to find out about this Welsh University’s holistic approach of teaching that marries creativity with science to tackle the world’s greatest crisis. You can read the online version here.
